Craft idea for 8 special needs 7 year old boys?

I am helping out with a Christmas craft on Friday with my son’s class. They have varying needs, from autistic spectrum to hearing disabled.

I have an autistic cousin, and ive learned that they love to touch and feel things. So you could do an activity where they have lots of varying feels like cotton, different types of plastics cereals. They could make snowman from different colored puffballs. They can string cheerios and eat them. They can make bird feeders. Christmas Trees. There is so much. The ideas really are endless

  • My little girl is Autistic. She absoloutely loves touching things and it keeps her calm. She can’t go to school and so we sat down today and made a fairy for the tree out of an old toilet papaer tube :) .

She then put glue alllll over it and rubbed it in glitter haha.

Thanks for the post, I’ll be returning :) .

    Good luck with your cousin.
