autumn craft ideas children
project ideas?

I babysit children between the ages of three and five and I am looking for a cute autumn craft project that could be easily made for gifts. The problem I am having is that most of the crafts I am finding look cheap and are made out of materials like paper and paint. I am hoping to find something that would cost no more than $15.00 USD per a child and actually would be something that the parents would keep around the household for it would be a useful item. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I got it. I wish I could send you a picture! You take a twig, yeah a twig. You cut squares of muslin, 12 x 12″, wrap top over twig–sew, fabric glue–dip each child’s hands in orange, yellow, red and brown paint, in a circle, making a wreath. Put child’s name, or fall or autumn, in center. I have two, and I hang them every year. Good luck.
